Many of our current challenges can’t be solved with the methods or mindsets of the past. The Art of Hosting gives us the leadership training and tools we need to try new approaches, engage the creative intelligence of all stakeholders, and build the trust and connections that will move us forward. This training will convene many thoughtful practitioners who are already applying aspects of the Art of Hosting in their work across networks of faith communities.
We invite you to join Tom Brackett, Missioner for Church Planting and Ministry Re-development for the Episcopal Church Center and leaders from Province V for a 3 day Mission Training Workshop. During the training we will practice the Art of Hosting Conversations that Matter. We will learn new ways of engaging peers and stakeholders in complex challenges, methods of inquiry that lead to collaborative change, ways to design change, and how to host as a leadership style.
Our goal is to create a network of peer-mentors who not only understand the unique challenges and opportunities of new communities of faith and missional initiatives, but also know how to host the conversations from which fresh leadership and learnings will continue to emerge.
The Mission Training Workshop is being held at the Procter Center on March 19-22. On March 21-22, we will gather with mission leaders to practice the Art of Hosting and share stories of mission happening in our Province. Help us build a network of emerging mission leaders in the church. Walk away from this event with greater clarity of purpose, a compelling vision of ministry, and strategy that you can share back home as you meet with your core team, your community, and other church leaders. Registration is online here.
