“God is a story written by humanity and a story that writes humanity.”
– Padraig O’Tuama
Join us for our annual young adult gathering – a space for reconnecting with God, friends, and your story. This year, we will explore the power of names, naming, and the unnamed possibilities among us. We will have opportunities to craft stories of self and God through spiritual practices, art-making, and mutual self-discovery. We invite you to join us and bring your questions, stories, and creative spirit with you. We will be joined by storytellers, musicians, and artists who will lead us in a process of meaning-making, thread-weaving, and story-witnessing. We are especially excited that our retreat will be co-led with Joey Taylor of BeSpoken, a Cincinnati not-for-profit that creates storytelling events and experiences.
The retreat begins on Friday night, December 20 at 5 p.m and will conclude on Saturday, December 21 around 3 pm. This retreat is free for all young adults ages 18-35, however, registration is required for planning purposes. Register at https://diosohio.wufoo.com/forms/young-adult-gathering-2019/
