It’s almost time to begin the Fall Semester, and we’re gearing up to unveil our slate of activities at the Involvement Fair. Okay, we’re actually unveiling them here. Here’s what we’re offering this Fall.
ART LAB
Learn to make graffiti art like Bansky, still lifes like Morandi, self-portraits like Chuck Close, water color washes like Georgia O’Keefe, and frottage like Max Ernst. No experience or skills are necessary. Workshops are limited to ten people, so be sure to sign-up for the workshops you’d like to attend here.
QUEER THEOLOGY
We’re going to be reading Patrick Cheng’s From Sin to Amazing Grace: Discovering the Queer Christ. We’ll wait to set a time to meet until everyone has their class schedules. E-mail campusministry@diosohio.org to join.
WORD & TABLE
A weekly podcast recorded in the Very Green Studio at Saint Stephen’s. Listen here or subscribe through the iTunes store.
WORSHIP
Join us on Sundays at 8:30 AM, 10:30 AM, or 6:00 PM. The evening service includes dinner.
GREATEST HITS BIBLE STUDY
We’re concentrating on the best known stories of the bible. Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, and their fabulous descendents. We’re still deep in the Old Testament but hope to reach the New Testament sometime before the end of the decade. It’s easy to join at any time. E-mail campusministry@diosohio.org to join.
EASE GALLERY
The gallery at Saint Stephen’s has a new show every month or so. Undergraduates, MFA candidates, and adjunct professors have all shown here. If you’re an artist and interested in having a show in the gallery, go to the EASE Gallery page, where everyone can learn about upcoming shows and openings.
IN ADDITION…
We’ll add events and activities when we get together for our beginning of the year barbecue. All ideas are welcome. Check back on this page to learn about the barbecue.
