O
ur Residential Fellowship program is designed for those willing to immerse themselves full-time in intentional community living. Together we develop and live into a community rule of life which involves sharing meals, prayer, retreats and excursions, spiritual direction, and theological reflection. Residential Fellows are placed at a local ministry or service site where they serve, learn and grow. Fellow’s service at placement sites covers the cost of living, including rent, food, optional health insurance, program fees, and a monthly stipend. You can see some examples of our past and potential placement sites for here.
Can’t live in the community? Or already have a full-time work schedule? You can still participate:
Our Community Apprenticeship requires less time commitment and can be integrated into a more heavily committed schedule. It provides the structure for Apprentices to participate in the community while living elsewhere. Community Apprentices join in non-residential aspects of community life, including learning days, retreats, volunteer service, and a weekly meal and theological reflection. Apprentices contribute to program costs (rates based on income and other life circumstances.)
Program commitment starts at 10 months with an option to extend for up to 3 years. If you’re ready to apply or have more questions email Aaron at awright@diosohio.org.
