About Aaron Klinefelter

http://aaronklinefelter.net
Aaron lives in Cincinnati, where he serves as Minister for Young Adults and Families at The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer. Aaron is a host of the Praxis Podcast and helps lead a Micah Group for ministry colleagues through Fuller Seminary. He is also part of several other Praxis communities and experiments - including beer and hymns, pub theology, and flash compline. His grandparents (Gerry and Gladdy Klinefelter) were missionaries to Appalachia with the Red Bird Mission in the 1940s. His parents were teachers in a small town outside of Lexington, KY (Paris) – which is where he grew up. He went to Asbury University in Wilmore, KY, where he met his amazing wife, Sarah. They have 3 awesome kids. He has an MA in Cross-cultural studies, concentrating on contemporary culture/postmodernity, from Fuller Theological Seminary. He gardens, loves composting, rides his bicycle about town, and drinks really good coffee (most of the time).

A Lenten Meditation: In the midst of the liminal, or what do a hawk, pigeon, and goose have to teach us We have a visitor at our church. She stops by from time to time. But often she’s only around for a fleeting moment, just long enough to keep an eye on things. She perches atop our steeple, carefully balancing up on the cross, ever vigilant but always wary. She’s a red-tailed hawk, full of powerful […] A Lenten Meditation: In the midst of the liminal, or what do a hawk, pigeon, and goose have to teach us
